Gurman: iPad Air will be released in October

The time of the year has arrived when we will finally have hands-on experience with the Apple next-gen iPhone series. Apple is all set to debut its iPhone 15 series tomorrow. Besides the iPhone 15 series, the company will debut the Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2.

As of now, we have come across some recent pieces of information about the iPad Air 6. Mark Gurman claims that the device will arrive next month. According to him, it is going to be the sole iPad update for the current year. There will reportedly be no launch event, and the device will debut with just a press release. Well, this is something Apple does with smaller launches. Gurman claims that the iPad Air 6 will include some improved specs and features. However, it might be a minor update.

iPad Air 6 will arrive next month

Gurman did state that the launch would take place in October, but he does not anticipate an event. He anticipates it to be similar to how the M2 Pro and M2 Max Macbook Pros were introduced earlier this year, which was through a press release and a brief product announcement video. He questions whether Apple will have enough new items to reveal to convince everyone to travel to Cupertino for another event.

It appears like M3 Macs won’t debut this year, and perhaps there will be no new Macs this fall. If it happens, then it will be the first time that Apple doesn’t debut any new Macs in the fall. Well, the new Macs will surely arrive with the M3 chips.
