Texting is one of the most significant options when it comes to texting. Sometimes it’s too heavy to record when you’re in a hurry instead of texting. This is the reason Google Messages has a recording feature. As per information via Android Police, the latest messages voice recorder got leaked, which will display a different interface.
With the latest feature, you will now be able to record voice messages on Google Messenger. You need to hold down the microphone present on the right side of the text field. Like an intercom, you’ll be able to hold down the microphone if you need to record. By releasing it, it’ll turn into a bubble, to which you can add text before sending.
Google has been working on a redesign of the Google Messages voice recorder for a couple of months. The company is most likely to release it to the public anytime soon. One of the Reddit users got early access to the feature and posted some screenshots.
The waveform symbol will take the place of the microphone icon in the screenshots. With the redesigned interface, you won’t have to keep your finger depressed while recording. You can record a message without using your hands by using the buttons to stop and start the recording. You can also include a pre-recorded file with your message if necessary.
While you’re recording, a waveform will appear, and a counter will be shown at the top to indicate how long the recording is. You can listen to your recording once you’re done recording it before sending it. With the recorder’s present iteration, you are lacking that feature.
