HMD Global is rolling out Android 11 to Nokia 2.2 in 24 countries

After sending Android 11 to the Nokia 4.2, HMD Global, the company manufacturing Nokia smartphones, is now rolling out the Android 11 update to the Nokia 2.2. In the first phase, the company would send the update to devices registered in 24 countries. The company made it official on the Nokia Community Forum.

The countries receiving the Android 11 update include Cambodia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Laos, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malaysia, Montenegro, Myanmar, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Thailand, and Vietnam.

As informed, this update file is 1.2GB in size and comes with the March 2021 security patch. In 2020, the Nokia 2.2. was honored with the Android 10 update.

This Nokia smartphone was launched in 2019, featuring a 5.71″ HD+ display with 720×1520 pixel resolution, a curved glass display, a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor under the hood, paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM, and 16GB/32GB storage (two variants). The device also supports microSD storage of up to 400GB.

The devices also support dual SIM, backed by a 3,000 mAh battery, a 13MP primary camera with LED flash, and a 5MP front camera.
