It’s an old phone in terms of the first announcement; Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has unveiled Honor 9X and 9X pro in July last year in China. However, the phone didn’t initially release globally but the company has now released the device in India, Honor India has also posted a launch event on their Twitter account where you can watch the entire launch event held today on January 14, 2020.
Charles Peng, President Honor India said that Honor is the number one online channel worldwide which falls in $200 to $600 price segment. He also said that the Honor wearable segment has seen over 300% growth in India over the last year.

The phone comes with 6.59-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display and punch-hole full-screen design along with a popup front selfie camera, the phone also has a triple rear camera module at the back and fingerprint scanner. Honor 9X is powered by Kirin 710F 12nm chipset along with a 4000mAh battery to keep it going for hours and days.
The front selfie camera is single 16MP while the rear cameras have sensors of 48MP + 8MP (Wide-angle) + 2MP Depth sensor. The phone could be charged with a USB Type-C port. The phone runs on Android Pie 9.0 and comes with preinstalled EMUI 9.1.
