Honor Magic V Leak confirms the design and reveals specs

Honor should start 2022 with a highly anticipated launch. But just a few days before the release of the Magic V, the brand’s first foldable smartphone, the alleged design, and technical data have now been leaked. About two weeks ago, Honor teased the release of the Magic V, its first foldable smartphone.

The Chinese brand expects it to be a “leading foldable smartphone in 2022”. A few days ago the design of the smartphone leaked, now there is a new leak. This confirms the design again and reveals the technical data of the foldable.

Ishaan Agarwal and MySmartPrice published renderings show that the Magic V is said to have a similar design to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3. On the back, there is a triple photo module in the upper left corner and an Honor logo a little further down. On the front, you can see the screen with the punch hole notch, which houses the selfie camera. According to the renders, the Honor Magic V will be available in orange, black, and silver.

According to Ishaan Agarwal, the Honor Magic V will have a 7.9-inch OLED main screen with a resolution of 2272 x 1984 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The external screen would be a 6.45-inch FHD + panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. As already known from previous rumors, the Magic V is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage space is combined.

As for the camera, the smartphone should have a triple photo module, with the main sensor with 50 MP and an aperture of f / 1.9, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an aperture of f / 2.2, and another 50 MP sensor with an aperture of f / 2.0. On the front, you should be able to use a 42 MP selfie camera. The Honor Magic V is expected to be equipped with a 4760 mAh battery, which you can quickly recharge with 66 watts. The smartphone should be equipped with DTS: X-Ultra speakers. In addition, the Magic V should run on Android 12 including MagicUI 6.
