How to block a number on Android

Android makes it really easy to block text messages or calls from one or more contacts. We are going to explain the procedure to follow to filter calls effectively and stop feeling annoyed when seeing a hidden or unwanted number. The reasons for blocking a contact are many and there are also many solutions to achieve it. Either by setting up blacklists if the smartphone allows it or by manually blocking each contact. The procedure remains essentially the same for all manufacturers. However, the titles of the options may change a bit. We recommend taking a tour of the major Android manufacturers.

It’s very simple, on most Android smartphones:

  • Open the app Phone
