How to fix problems with Google Assistant

Confirm that voice command is activated

If the Google Assistant activates with the gesture, but not with the voice command, it may be that the voice command is disabled. This is something you can quickly fix from your own settings of the wizard by following these steps:

  • Open the Google app and tap on your profile picture in the upper right corner.
  • Go into “Settings”.
  • Accede to “Google Assistant”.
  • Go into “Hey Google and Voice Match”.
  • Check the “Ok Google” box within the “This device” section.

In this way, the Google Assistant will be activated every time you say “Ok Google”, even when the screen is off or you are using an app. By enabling this command, the assistant will most often respond every time you call it.

Update the Google Assistant app

Perhaps the problem causing the Google Assistant not to work well on your device is that you have not updated the app to the latest version available. To fix it, follow these steps:

  • open the app Play Store.
  • Search for the Google Assistant app.
  • Click on the “Update” button to download and install the latest update.

If you only see “Uninstall” and “Open” buttons, then the Google Assistant app is now up to date to the latest version. Therefore, this is most likely not the cause of the problem. Turn off battery saving mode

  • Open the settings of your smartphone.
  • Enter the section “Drums”.
  • Accede to “Battery saving mode”.

Teach him correctly to recognize your voice
