HTC announces HTC U23 Pro

The new smartphone HTC U23 Pro is now official. We have heard quite a lot about this device. It is a new addition to the U series of HTC smartphones. HTC U23 Pro is a mid-range smartphone. It features a built-in VIVERSE platform.

The device features a flat display. It accompanies a centered display camera hole. Physical buttons are provided on the right side of the device. The power/lock button also functions as a fingerprint scanner. On the back, four cameras are provided in the upper left corner. The cameras are a little bit protruding. Furthermore, the company’s logo is printed on the back panel of the device.

Display of HTC U23 Pro

The display of the HTC U23 Pro is a 6.7-inch fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) OLED display. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio. It features a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Gorilla Glass Victus protect the display.

Chipset and storage

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. When it comes to storage, the device features 8GB/12GB of RAM. Moreover, it also includes 256GB of expandable storage. HTC U23 Pro has two SIM card slots. It comes with Android 13 pre-installed.

Battery and charging capacity

The smartphone consists of a 4,600mAh battery. It has support for 30W wired charging. In addition to this, the smartphone also features 15W wireless, and reverse wireless charging as well. The device supports Bluetooth 5.2 and 5G (SA/NSA). A 3.5mm headphone jack is also included. The smartphone is IP67 certified for water and dust resistance.

Camera details

On the back, the smartphone consists of a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide unit, a 2MP depth camera, and a 5MP macro shooter. A 32MP selfie camera is provided on the front of the HTC U23 Pro.

Price and availability

The smartphone measures 166.6 x 77.09 x 8.88mm. HTC U23 Pro weighs 205 grams. The device is offered in two different color options i.e., Coffee Black and Muxer White. The 8GB model of HTC U23 Pro is available for TW$16,990 ($552) whereas the 12GB RAM variant is priced at TW$17,990 ($585). The device is now on sale in Taiwan.
