HTC achieved revenue of NT$493 million (US$17.61 million) last month, an increase of nearly 3% from NT$478 million (US$17.08 million) in the same period last year. Revenue in January of this year dropped by nearly 20% compared to December last year, but for technology companies, especially smartphone manufacturers, some form of decline was expected. HTC’s posts revenue growth for three consecutive months as Phonearena reports.

The good news is that HTC has achieved revenue growth for three consecutive months, and the growth rate is also accelerating. In November, the year-on-year growth rate was 0.96%, but it rose to 1.02% and 2.99% in December and January, respectively.

It remains to be seen whether the former smartphone giant can continue to maintain this growth momentum in the next few months, but for now, these figures are undoubtedly positive. According to the previous data, HTC’s last three consecutive months of growth was in early 2015, when HTC One (M8) was successfully launched in 2014 and the new HTC One M9 was launched.

HTC came back to this growth after almost 5 to 6 years which is quite promising for the company.
