Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (2026)
Amazon is apparently about to launch a number of its own new hardware products. Among other things, they are planning a Fire TV Stick 4K with a new design and a new remote control. We show the devices in advance.

Thanks to independent dealer sources, we can already show Amazon’s new hardware today. Of course, we don’t yet know what exactly the world’s largest online retailer’s plans for the “hardware autumn” will look like, but because an external retailer is listing some products in advance, we at least have pictures that provide a first look.
However, it should be said straight away that we do not have any technical data for the new Amazon hardware, which is being developed under the leadership of Panos Panay, who was the leading man behind Microsoft’s Surface products for a long time. Amazon’s updated hardware lineup includes a new Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K.
New, edgier design for stick & remote control
The device stands out from its predecessors with a slightly more “boxy” design, in which the wide curves disappear and the housing becomes more cuboid. Overall, the new model appears to be slightly more compact than before, while retaining the basic form factor where the stick plugs directly into the host TV’s HDMI port. The new Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (2026) also comes with a new remote control, the design of which is fundamentally different from the most recently released models, at least in form. There are again buttons for quick access to streaming services such as Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube and Disney+, but some new buttons have been added.
In addition to the changed layout, in which the button for calling up the Alexa voice assistant slides up into the upper right corner of the remote control, Amazon is apparently adding a backlit, animated home button, which is presumably intended to display various tasks and activities. There are also new buttons for accessing favorites, settings and quickly switching between channels. The new remote control is not rounded in the upper area, but is kept straight and seems to have grown a little in size – or the new Fire TV Stick 4K has simply become a little smaller.
We don’t yet have any information about the technical features of the new Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K, so we can only estimate how the device fits into the hardware portfolio of the US online retailer and streaming provider. We haven’t been able to find any information about the price either. Since Amazon carried out a major hardware launch almost exactly a year ago from September 30, 2025, we assume that the new Fire TV Stick 4K will be presented in the coming days.
