Huawei has launched another cousin of Huawei P series, the Honor 8X is the newest model launched in Pakistan with 4GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage.
Huawei P20 Lite is the closest comparison of Huawei Honor 8X, Huawei has launched P20 Lite a few months ago which is another awesome handset, but Huawei continues filling the gaps that it already left in P20 Lite.
The major difference between Huawei P20 Lite and the Honor 8X is the battery capacity, internal storage, screen size, and chip. Huawei has launched Honor in two variants one offers 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage which may not be available in Pakistan, the other one is 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The later one is definitely coming to Pakistan. The chip is also upgraded, it has the bigger screen than P20 Lite and of course larger battery.
Display
The phone sports 6.5-inch IPS LCD full HD+ display with screen resolution of 1080X2340 pixels, it is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass whereas P20 Lite isn’t.
Chipset
The phone has HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset under the hood along with Mali-G51 MP4, runs Octa-core processor, Huawei’s homegrown chip which performs as one of the best chips on the market, the upgraded chip as compared to P20 Lite.
Camera
The Huawei Honor 8X only lacks a bit in selfie camera, however, it is still upgraded as far as rear cameras are concerned. The phone has 24MP+2MP rear cameras and 16MP front shooter with AI capabilities to take stunning images.
P20 Lite, however, had 16MP+2MP rear cameras and 24MP front shooter.
Battery
Huawei Honor 8X is powered by 3750mAh battery which has 647 hours of standby time, well that’s pretty huge.
Other features
Other features include the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, runs on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box and dual SIM.
