Huawei introduces Nova Y91 with an iPhone-like notch

Just recently, the Chinese smartphone company Huawei introduced another mid-range smartphone. Notably, the company has introduced Nova Y91 to its mid-range smartphone series. The most interesting feature of this new smartphone is the iPhone-like notch. Additionally, the smartphone holds a huge camera island on the back.

The display of the Nova Y91 consists of a big touchscreen that measures 6.95 inches. It is a 1080×2376 LCD. It offers a refresh rate of 90Hz whereas the touch sampling rate is 270 Hz. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. For storage, the Nova Y91 is provided with 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of storage. Nova Y91 is powered by a huge 7,000 mAh battery. It supports 22.5W with the in-box brick.

 Coming towards the camera setup of Nova Y91, the smartphone holds two cameras on the back i.e., a 50 MP primary camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. An 8 MP selfie camera is provided on the front. The device runs Huawei’s EMUI 13. It has no support for 5G or Wi-Fi 6. However, Nova Y91 supports Bluetooth 5.0 and a USB-C port. It has no support for the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The power button doubles as the fingerprint scanner. Nova Y91 is offered in two different colors i.e., Moonlight Silver and Starry Black. The smartphone measures 171.6 x 79.9 x 8.9 mm and weighs 214g. As of now, there is no information about the price and availability of the Nova Y91.
