Huawei launches Y5 Lite 2018 in Pakistan priced at Rs16,500

Huawei has launched a budget phone Huawei Y5 Lite 2018 in Pakistan in order to capture the budget market, the phone’s price is on Rs16,500 in Pakistan.

Since Huawei has launched several new mid-range smartphones and flagships including the most recent Huawei Mate 20 Pro, the expectations were quite high from Huawei, however, the price of Huawei Mate 20 Pro which is Rs159,999 is out of the budget for many users.

Huawei is not leaving the budget market unattended; the company has launched Y5 Lite 2018 in Pakistan in order to address the needs of budget consumers. Although, you may not be able get the specifications like the mid-range smartphones but it is a good entry level smartphone at the lower price offered by Chinese manufacturer.

Huawei Y5 Lite 2018 Specifications in Pakistan

Let’s start with the most important specifications first, Huawei Y5 Lite 2018 supports 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage extendable up to 256GB. The RAM is just the entry level which may not be attractive for many users for the price they pay.

The phone also runs on Android Oreo 8.1 an older version of Android. The phone features 5.5-inch IPS LCD display.

The phone has 8MP main rear camera and 5MP front camera which is still not promising. However, the phone has 3020mAh battery capacity which is a good sign. Under the hood it is powered by MediaTek MT6739 1.5GHz Quad-Core Cortex-A53 processor. As far as specifications are concerned, we do not see any big plus to attract the budget market in Pakistan, Xiaomi and Vivo on the other hand provide better phones than this little master.
