Huawei Sending Notifications to Switch from Android to its Own HarmonyOS

The Huawei Mate X2 and the Mate 40 series may soon receive the HarmonyOS. The company earlier announced in the Huawei Mate X2 folding screen smartphone launch conference that the new operating system would reach Huawei devices in April 2021.

In reports, we heard that users have already started receiving Harmony 2.0. The company is notifying users to switch the system from Android to Harmony OS.

Since this is quite a new operating system, many Huawei users are reluctant to make the switch. On the other hand, those who have made a move are quite satisfied with HarmonyOS.

A user shared his experience when he switched from Android to HarmonyOS on his Mate 40 Pro+. According to him, Google services were not affected at all.

Huawei started working on its HarmonyOS back in 2016. The OS is not a substitute for Android, nor is it a copy of iOS. It has its own specialities. The company claims it to be an operating system for the Internet of Everything.

We also heard from a reliable source that the Huawei Mate 40 Pro 4G version is coming with Harmony OS. The device has already passed the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and 3C certification.
