Huawei stops production of P20 Lite, Mate 10 Lite, P10 Lite and P Smart in Pakistan

Huawei had been really successful in selling Huawei P20 Lite, Mate 10 Lite, P10 Lite and P Smart devices in Pakistan. The handsets received strong recognition from customers in Pakistan during the past few years.

However, the company has decided to stop production of these devices especially in Pakistan, it is not clear that Huawei has stopped the production of these devices at global scale or just decided to stop sending these devices to Pakistan.

Huawei has recently took a decision to stop several previous Huawei devices including Huawei P20 Lite, Huawei Mate 10 Lite, Huawei P Smart, Huawei P10 Lite, Huawei Y6 II, Huawei Y7 Prime 2017, Huawei Y9 2018, and Huawei Y6 2018, a local retailer told RS-NEWS.

Huawei, on the other hand, has launched newer devices to compensate these stoppages including Huawei Y9 2019, Huawei Y7 Prime 2019, Huawei Y6 2019 and Huawei P Smart 2019. But Huawei has stopped producing P20 Lite, P10 Lite, and Mate 10 Lite.

Huawei has been targeting consumers with newer devices and stopped producing older devices because when the newer models are launched the company has to reduce the prices of older devices and this device doesn’t generate enough revenue as required. It is good from company’s perspective but not from consumer’s perspective. Huawei P20 Lite was a very good device loved by various customers but they cannot buy it anymore.
