Huawei will debut its foldable with satellite connectivity

Samsung is one of the leading companies in the foldable smartphone category. Besides Samsung, several other companies like OPPO, Vivo, and some others have introduced their foldable smartphones in the market. Furthermore, another Chinese company i.e., Huawei is going to debut a foldable smartphone soon. One of the interesting things about the foldable smartphone by Huawei is that it will be the first foldable with a Satellite connectivity feature. Such a feature is not available with any foldable smartphone introduced by Samsung.

Official sources claim that Huawei will debut the foldable smartphone on March 23 in China. The official poster doesn’t indicate the name of the foldable. However, it does indicate that the new foldable will be thinner, more durable, and lighter. Besides this, the company has assured that it will introduce the Huawei Mate X3 with satellite connectivity.

The Mate X3 will have a conventional inward-folding design similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series. The phone’s specifications are unknown at this time. To minimize the thickness of the Huawei Mate X3, the company has implemented a new heat-dissipation technology based on graphene.

Furthermore, Chinese companies usually introduce their products to the local market. So, we can’t say anything about the international debut of Mate X3. Well, it is still interesting to witness how the competitors will take on this new feature for a foldable smartphone. Some companies could copy the feature with their respective foldable flagships.
