In the coming week, two smartphones with up to 24GB of RAM will be launched

In just a week, two new smartphones featuring 24GB of RAM will go on sale. Previously, the smartphone that featured 24 GB of RAM was the RedMagic 8S Pro. It was introduced in July. Although the smartphone is available in the global market, only the Chinese variant offers 24GB of RAM. The international version features 16GB of RAM.

Two phones with up to 24GB of RAM will be unveiled shortly

As per recent pieces of information, the two other smartphones that will feature 24GB of RAM are the Redmi K60 Ultra and the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. The variant of the Redmi K60 Ultra featuring 24 GB of RAM will be named ‘Extreme Edition’. Notably, both smartphones will debut in China first.

Currently, there is no information on whether smartphones will make it to the international market or not. Furthermore, whether the 24GB RAM variant remains restricted to China or debuts in the global market. Despite this, smartphones are said to be quite powerful. As per reports, the Redmi K 60 Ultra is set to debut on August 14. On the other hand, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will debut on August 16.

Both smartphones feature powerful specs

Reportedly, the Redmi K60 Ultra will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. It will feature a flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. It will feature a refresh rate of 144 Hz. On the back, three cameras can be found. A primary camera is a 50 MP unit. The Redmi K60 Ultra will offer 1 TB of storage. It will have a glass back.

On the other hand, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, will also feature up to 1TB of storage. It will include LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage. Possibly, it will come in more RAM options, including 8GB and 12GB of RAM. Its display is said to be a 6.74-inch OLED display, 1.5K resolution, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone will be fueled by a 5,000mAh battery with 150W charging support. Alongside this, the smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
