In the US and Canada, Samsung might host different Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Fold 5 launch events

Last week we got some sneak peeks about the launch event of Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5. Notably, the company stated that it will organize the launch event in its hometown i.e., South Korea. Samsung is reportedly going to organize the event by next month. However, the company has not shared any specific date for the Galaxy Unpacked event. While some rumors suggest that the launch event for Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 will take place on July 27. Besides this, a fresh report indicates that the company will organize a separate launch event for the flagship devices in North America.

Samsung will unveil the flagship foldable in Canada and the US on August 11

As per recent pieces of information from MySmartPrice, the South Korean tech giant will organize the launch event for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 in Canada and the US on August 11, 2023. Well, this is the same time window during which the company introduces its new smartwatches and foldable. Besides this general information, there are no more details about the event.

Well, it is not just the foldable rather the company will unveil a range of other devices as well. These include the Galaxy Watch 6, Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, and Galaxy Buds 3. In addition to this, the company could also introduce its next-gen Galaxy SmartTag. Whereas SmartTag is basically an object tracker.

Concerning the upcoming foldable, reports suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will feature an improved hinge mechanism. The devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch 6 series will showcase similar features as its ancestor. They are reported to be fueled by the Exynos W980 processor. Whereas the Galaxy Tab S9 series are reported to feature 120Hz OLED screens. They will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. All models of the Tab S9 series will feature an IP67 rating.
