In the USA, the Galaxy A13 5G gets a February 2024 security update

Samsung began providing the Galaxy A13 with the February 2024 security patch last week. The Galaxy A13 5G is now receiving the same security update from the firm. For the time being, the tech giant is offering the smartphone model number SM-A136U1, for purchase in the US in carrier-unlocked form.

The build number for the updated firmware is A136U1UES7DXB1. It includes the security patch for February 2024, which resolves 72 vulnerabilities. For smartphones on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, C-Spire, Cellular South, Comcast, Cricket, DISH, MetroPCS, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile, the firmware update is currently available.

You should receive an automatic notification about the latest software update on your Galaxy A13 5G. If not, you may check for it by selecting the Download and install option under Settings » Software update. You can download the latest firmware from our website and use Odin to manually install it if you’re still not receiving the update.

The plan for quarterly security updates includes the Galaxy A13 5G. This implies that Samsung will provide the phone with one security upgrade every three months. Thus, before June 2024, expect the next security upgrade. Although it hasn’t yet reached all phone models, Samsung has begun to roll out Android 14 (One UI 6.0) to the device.
