Since last year, India has banned several Chinese products and services in the country. Huawei is one of the companies that has been facing some challenges. Other companies/services include PUBG Mobile and TikTok. And now we hear that the country is also banning the import of WiFi products from China.

Not only this, some ancient and renowned companies, including Dell, HP, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, and Lenovo, are unable to ship their devices. Not just this, the country has also banned companies that use WiFi modules from China.

According to GizChina, India has postponed importing finished electronic equipment from China that contains WiFi modules. Bluetooth speakers, wireless headsets, smartphones, smartwatches and laptops, are all those facing this hurdle.

For those unaware of the situation, this ban is placed by the Wireless Planning and Coordination Department (WPC) under the Ministry of Communications of India has deferred the import of these devices.

Not only this, more than 80 such applications from the US, China, and Korea have been waiting for WPC’s approval. Even some Indian companies are waiting for WPC’s approval.
