Redmi released the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G and the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition in recent times. The devices came with MediaTek Dimensity 1100 and 1200 SoC, respectively. These devices are still exclusive to Chinese users, the rest of the world still has to witness these devices.
To send these two devices to the rest of the world, these two devices would be released as rebranded models by POCO – the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G will be dubbed as the POCO X3 GT, while the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will come as the POCO F3 GT. Of the two, POCO F3 GT appeared on the BIS certification website, implying it’s soon to release in India.
On the BIS certification site, this device appeared with model number 2104K10L. This smartphone has also passed through the IMEI database and confirms that this POCO F3 GT is actually the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. That means we get almost everything that the Chinese variant came with.
The POCO F3 GT will come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with up to 120 Hz of refresh rate, a 6nm-based MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, powering by the ARM Cortex-A78 cores and also has a Mali-G78 GPU with nine cores. This smartphone also has a vapor cooling tech to ensure better thermal management. It runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 running on the top. The whole unit is powered by a 5,065mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
On the backside, we have a triple-camera setup with a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide-angle camera, and a 2 MP macro lens. On the front, we have a 16MP shooter.
Release date and price are yet to be discovered. Let’s hope to get them soon.
