Infinix is a Chinese smartphone company. Recently, it announced that it will utilize the ChatGPT powers and create its own digital voice assistant. Reportedly, the digital voice assistant of Infinix has been labeled as Folax. The company will introduce the ChatGPT-enabled assistant with the release of the Infinix Note 30 series in India. The tipster, Ice Universe claims that such a feature has the potential to reform the overall landscape of digital assistants. Besides this, the tipster has shared some images featuring Infinix’s ChatGPT-powered voice assistant. One of the images shows the results generated when a user asks the assistant about birthday gift ideas. It gives a similar response as ChatGPT-powered Bing searches.

A new age of digital assistants

Well, according to some this is not a revolution. Since it includes the incorporation of a current AI model rather than the development of a new and dedicated one. On the other hand, the use of current AI models like Bard and ChatGPT by companies can help in delivering a better user experience. given this, if Infinix succeeds with this incorporation, it will serve as a victory for both brands as well as the consumers.

The Infinix Note 30 series will debut on June 14. The company has shared some key specs of the upcoming smartphones. As per the information, the smartphones feature JBL sound, a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, a fast-charging 5,000 mAh battery, and an improved 108 MP camera. One thing to notice here is that the series will be introduced in India for now.
