After presenting new 13th-generation Core CPUs, Intel also submitted the appropriate WHQL driver updates. The updates are also interesting for older generations because a number of errors are fixed.
The new WHQL driver updates are available now. The best way to stay up to date is with the Intel driver and support assistant.
Intel is now starting support for newly introduced Alder Lake-N CPUs as well as for Raptor Lake-S desktop CPUs. The build number of the new driver update is 31.0.101.4032. We have translated the release notes for you and added them to the end of the post. You can find more information directly on the Intel support page .
Unlike the other Alder Lake and Raptor Lake variants, the new Alder Lake-N is made entirely of E-Cores and is not a hybrid design.
The update fixes some bugs but still has known issues. An annoying bug affects certain notebook systems with Intel Iris X e + Iris X e MAX. The driver cannot be installed on some devices. There is an error message stating that the update cannot be completed successfully.
