iOS 15.5 Public Beta Launched – Check out What’s New

Apple has now released the first public beta for iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5. This means that anyone who wants and has a suitable iPhone or iPad can now try out the new preliminary version for themselves. The new version of the operating system is now being tested by anyone who is interested. This was preceded yesterday by the first release of iOS 15.5 for developers. The first test build is now also available as part of the public beta program and therefore for anyone who wants to try it (via AppleInsider Apple hasn’t announced any official features for iOS 15.5 yet. There is therefore little information about what will change with iOS 15.5.

iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 are major updates that bring new features, including this time a new app. “Apple Classical” prepares a music application that focuses entirely on classical music. Last year, Apple acquired the classical music streaming service Primephonic, which could soon make its debut on iOS. In addition, iOS 15.5 has new features “under the hood”, many improvements, and bug fixes.

Join the beta program

End users can now download the iOS beta and try out the first new features. Participation in the beta program is free and requires a one-time registration for the program beta.apple.com/sp/en/betaprogram of the corresponding device. This also applies to all beta versions that Apple is testing, so iPhone, iPad, Watch, Mac, and TV. To do this, users need to enter their Apple ID and then get the update automatically through the update function.

New versions are then automatically downloaded to the device. The new version is now available to registered users as an over-the-air update. Testing the beta is always at your own risk and should not be performed on the production system. iOS 15.5 should be completed in a few weeks.
