iPhone 13 Series Likely To Come With Batteries 2460mAh, 3095mAh and 4325mAh

The iPhone 13 could have a much larger new Mini to the Max model battery so at least it is reported in a current leak. The use of a 120 Hz display could, however, cost more capacity if the Pro models are fully utilized.

iPhone 13 series battery improved significantly

Why make smartphones ever thinner and then risk a camera hump if you could use the space for more battery capacity? This question has been asked again and again since the advent of the hunched-back smartphone. In terms of battery performance, this year’s Apple smartphones definitely seem to be undergoing an upgrade. As the Weibo channel, Digital Chat Station announces Notebookcheck, they want to be able to supply battery capacities for all iPhone 13 models.

Unofficial battery capacities of the iPhone 13 series according to Weibo leak:

  • iPhone 13 Mini 2460mAh
  • iPhone 13 & iPhone 13 Pro 3095mAh
  • iPhone 13 Pro Max 4325mAh

A look at the previous year’s models shows that the top-of-the-range iPhone13 Pro Max makes the biggest leap, while the previous iPhone 12 Pro Max’s value was significantly lower at around 3,690 mAh. iPhone 12 and 12 Pro get by with 2815 mAh, the iPhone 12 Mini has 2227 mAh – so there could be significantly more capacity here too.

Intended For More Power Consumption Not Run Times

If you expect new runtime miracles from the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Pro based on this adjustment, you will have to exercise restraint with all too much joy. At the moment it seems almost certain that the high-end iPhones will be equipped with a 120 Hz display which, when the full frame rate is used, has a higher power consumption than the panels previously used.

However: Apple relies on specially developed LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) technology, which should have a lower power consumption than other 120Hz panels. It remains to be seen where the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Pro will really level off in terms of consumption.
