Last month, BEO proudly announced it was taking over the production of 30 million OLED displays for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro Max for Apple. The reason could certainly cause lingering problems: BEO was allegedly “caught” adjusting the circuit width of the iPhone 13 panels earlier this year, according to “people familiar with the matter”. “This was done without Apple’s approval, probably to increase revenue,” he said the Elec its sources.

And so Apple seems doomed to order its 30 million OLED displays from its two largest partners, Samsung and LG if BOEs are eliminated.
