iPhone 16 colors: Apple Planning Big Changes

Many details about the upcoming iPhone 16 have emerged, especially in the last few weeks . Dummy units of the entire iPhone 16 range have already been seen, and now there’s information about the changes Apple is rumored to be making to color selection.

New rumors from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo

The information comes from the well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has not yet revealed where these details come from, but has often been correct in his advance reports in the past.

However, the new rumors cannot be verified. Now, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that he expects Apple to introduce two new colors, replacing well-known shades. He believes that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will still be available in black, green and pink. However, the pale yellow color will be dropped for white.

Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to be available in black, white (or silver), and gray. This year the “Blue Titanium” color will say goodbye and could be replaced by the “Rose Titanium” color.

In his message on Platform Plus: black, green, pink, blue, white. Apple can rename colors (e.g. white was previously called Starlight). Even if the color name is the same as the existing model, it may look different.”

New color naming

Kuo also claims that Apple wants to change the naming scheme for all colors, regardless of the changes to the colors themselves. As an example, he cites that Apple renamed the color white to “Starlight” when it released the iPhone 13.
