iPhone 16e Confirmed to Feature 8GB of RAM, Pre-Orders Begin This Friday

Apple typically keeps the amount of RAM in its iPhones under wraps, but MacRumors has confirmed that the iPhone 16e comes with 8GB of RAM.

The inclusion of 8GB of RAM was expected, given that the iPhone 16e supports Apple Intelligence, which requires a minimum of 8GB. All other iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models also feature 8GB of RAM, while the previous iPhone SE it replaces only had 4GB.

This confirmation comes via Apple’s developer tool Xcode, with help from MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris.

If you’re ready to grab one, pre-orders for the iPhone 16e kick off this Friday at 5 a.m. Pacific Time in nearly 60 countries. The device will officially launch on Friday, February 28. Keep an eye out for what could be one of Apple’s most exciting releases yet!
