It Turns Out That The Nothing Phone (2a) Leaks Were Inaccurate

We have been hearing a lot about the Nothing Phone (2a), both officially and non-officially. Reportedly, the company will debut the new phone at MWC 2024. The company’s upcoming smartphone has been the subject of multiple leaks and rumors. A leaked press render of the Phone (2a) has now been supplied by trustworthy tipper Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known as Onleaks. It appears like the previous available information about the Phone (2a) was wrong.

Nothing Phone (2a) misses the Glyph Interface

One of the most striking differences between the already-available information and the new information is the camera setup. Reportedly, the smartphone will feature two vertically stacked camera lenses at the top left side. It is the same as observed with the previous smartphones from the London-based company. In addition to this, besides the camera sensor, the Nothing Phone (2a) features a big circular element. The article also notes that this is in contrast to the sizable circular lines in the middle above the wireless charging circuitry on the Phone (2).

Furthermore, the device lacks the unique Glyph interface. Well, it is not surprising at all since it is expected to be a mid-range device. Similar to the more premium phones, the Nothing Phone (2a) will have a transparent back panel. It appears like the company is trying to distinguish the flagship and mid-range offerings by removing the Glyph interface and making some design changes.

In addition to this, a prototype image of the smartphone was recently shared by a Reddit user. The image is quite similar to the latest leaked render. It is expected that the upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. It is said to be powered by the Dimensity 7200 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It might feature a 50MP primary camera. There are no details about the battery size; however, it is reported that the smartphone will feature 45W charging support.
