Leak mentions almost complete specs of Nvidia RTX Cards

The release of Nvidia’s new graphics cards is getting closer. As usual, more and more supposed data about the new GPUs is emerging. Now a leak allegedly lists several specifications of the cards such as number of cores, memory size and power consumption. BoliviaInteligente / Unsplash

Presentation of the graphics cards at CES

Just under a week ago, the organizer of CES 2025 confirmed that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang would give a keynote speech at the tech event on January 6th. Nvidia itself has not yet provided any information about the content of the presentation. However, many firmly expect that the company will use the opportunity to introduce the new generation of its GeForce RTX cards.

Alleged specs of the RTX 50 series leaked

More information has emerged about the highly anticipated GPUs. So did WccfTech a list with several specifications of the RTX 5090, 5080 and 5070 has been published. However, the sources from which this data comes are not explained further.

The top model in the lineup of new graphics cards, the RTX 5090, will come with 32 GB of GDDR7 memory and a 512-bit interface. The Blackwell GPU GB202-300 used has 21760 CUDA cores. The power consumption is supposedly 600 watts. This figure for power consumption was also mentioned in an older leak. The slightly ‘smaller’ RTX 5080 uses the GB203-400 chip with 10,752 CUDA cores. Even with 16 GB of memory with a 256-bit interface, everything is a little less. The 5080 has half the VRAM of the 5090. But the TDP is ‘only’ 400 watts. There is currently very little information about the RTX 5070. Only a memory of 12 GB and a TDP of 250 watts should be specified. It is still unclear how many cores the card can use.

Different release dates

All three cards will come with a 12V 2×6 power connector, as buyers have become accustomed to since the RTX40 Super GPUs. In addition, all models are likely to be presented together at CES 2025. However, they should go on sale at different times. However, there is no information on exact dates.
