Lenovo: Confirmed Specifications Of Moto Z2 Play Smartphone
Lenovo is launching its Moto Z2 Play phone very soon, the company confirmed some of the specifications of Moto Z2 on a micro-blogging site Twitter in replying some followers queries.

Moto Z2 Play will come with non-removable 3,000 mAh battery, it is confirmed in the tweet by official Lenovo Twitter account. The trend for removable batteries is disappearing quickly, but Lenovo provided more details and argument on non-removable batteries and uplifted the cause why it is better to use non-removable batteries in the phones.
Its predecessor Moto Z Play had larger capacity 3510 mAh, that could disappoint some of the users however, Moto Z2 Play with smaller battery is expected to perform well under lower capacity.
The launch date of the phone is not confirmed yet, nor the other detailed specifications about the phone are revealed. It is expected the company will showcase the phone in IFA conference this year.
Report published by Venturebeat has unveiled some of the specifications that are likely to surround Moto Z2 Play, it will come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, it will be thinner than the predecessor, could be understood when they have sliced down the size of battery. The Moto Z Play itself is around 7mm thick and weighs around 165 grams which is 20 gram lighter than the previous version. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor
The report adds further that while the Z Play is almost 7mm thick and weighs 165 gram, the upcoming Z2 Play will be a millimetre thin and 20 gram lighter. The device could sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor, a minor upgrade over the Z Play’s Snapdragon 625. In addition, the 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution could remain the same.
It is speculated that the major change will be in storage, It is expected to come with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, where predecessor had 3G RAM and 32GB storage.
The front camera is would probably remain the same but rear camera would see a drop in mega pixels but improved image quality and focus. Moto Z Play’s 16MP camera with perture f/2.0 could be replaced with f/1.7 aperture and 12MP rear camera, using the same technology which was introduced in Samsung Galaxy S7 last year.
Moto Z2 Play might come in 2 color variations Grey and Gold.
