Lenovo introduces several laptops at CES 2024
Several tech companies have come forward with new laptop and tablet offerings at CES 2024. Lenovo is one such company that has dozens of new laptops on its shelves. Interestingly, one laptop is even capable of changing colors. The company has introduced new products in its Legion, LOQ, Yoga, ThinkBook, Tab, and IdeaPad series. Notably, all the products will be available on the market by the first or second quarter of this year.
The ThinkBook 13x Gen 4 SPE is a proof-of-concept laptop introduced by the company. Interestingly, the laptop features an E-ink exterior cover that is customizable. The cover supports different colors and patterns and even a dynamic clock design. The cover consumes minimal power given the fact that it is an E-ink display. It can support thousands of images. According to the company, the battery life of the laptop remains unaffected by the cover, which even works when the laptop is powered down.
On the other hand, the 13-inch ThinkBook 13x Gen 4 will be up for sale later in 2024. It weighs 2.20 lbs and provides a 74-hour battery (21 hours of video playback). It is powered by the Intel Core Ultra processor, which comes with 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM. Similar to other computing products with an Intel Core Ultra chip, the ThinkBook 13x Gen 4 accompanies a neural processing unit (NPU) for AI PC features. For gamers, the company has debuted the Lenovo Legion 9i. It is powered by an Intel Core i9-14900HX chip and an RTX 4090 GPU. It accompanies a Smart FPS feature that can monitor the CPU and GPU’s power usage. It can even optimize the power consumption and eventually increase the frames per second. On the specs end, the laptop features a 165Hz VRR Mini-LED display, a 99.99 Whr battery, 2TB of Gen4 PCIe storage, and 64GB of DDR5 RAM.
Furthermore, there are several Yoga laptops. Reportedly, the new Yoga Book 9i is the world’s first full-size dual-screen OLED laptop. It is a 13-inch notebook powered by an Intel Ultra Core processor. It features an OLED 2.8K screen. The rotating Bowers & Wilkins soundbar is also part of the package.
