Major details of iPhone 15 Pro design improvements
We have heard many rumors about the iPhone 15. And the latest one we are hearing is coming from a well-known Apple analyst, Mark Gurman. For Bloomberg, he basically detailed important iPhone 15 Pro design advancements.
Mark Gurman details major iPhone 15 Pro design enhancements
First and foremost, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will receive modifications. Both phones will have a titanium frame, a first for Apple. Furthermore, slimmer bezels will be included in the offering.
We’ve heard both of those rumours before, but Mark Gurman lends them even more credence and information. He did, however, make a passing reference to some of these adjustments in the past. Apple will employ a new manufacturing technique known as ‘low-injection pressure over-molding,’ or LIPO for short.
Bezels will be trained in consideration
It appears that this technology will allow Apple to reduce bezels. Both phones’ bezels are projected to be reduced to 1.5mm. They currently measure 2.2mm and are fairly thin. So you can only imagine the difference.
In case you were wondering, Apple employed LIPO on the Apple Watch Series 7. It’s also worth mentioning that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will have uniform bezels, as planned. They’ll be uniform on the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus as well, but not as thin.
The transition to a titanium frame was also anticipated. That should make both phones lighter if Apple doesn’t compensate with more battery capacity or anything of similar sort. Titanium is both stronger and lighter than the stainless steel utilized by Apple in the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.
The iPhone 15 Pro series’ edges will be less crisp than before.
Gurman also stated that the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro’s edges will be less crisp than those of its predecessors. We’re talking about the edges that link the devices’ sides and fronts. That implies the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max won’t dig as deeply into your palm.
Furthermore, all iPhones will contain a Type-C port, something Gurman felt the need to emphasize. The next iPhones are scheduled to be released in September, though this date might be delayed till October.
