Malaysia is anticipated to see the release of the HomePod Mini

We have some great news for Apple users in Malaysia. In accordance with a local regulatory filing, Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has received consent to sell the HomePod mini in Malaysia. The latest information comes from Xavier Naxa. Currently, there are no details on when the HomePod mini will be available in the Malaysian market. However, it is expected that sales will begin in the upcoming months through the company’s online store.

One thing to notice here is that the company has not received approval for selling the full-size second-generation HomePod in Malaysia. The company debuted the product initially in the U.S. in October 2020. Reportedly, the product is now available in 25 countries. In November 2021, the product was offered in new color options. In 2023, the previously unused temperature and humidity sensors were enabled on the product.

In addition to this, last year, Ming-Chi Kuo, the supply chain analyst, claimed that by the second half of 2024, the shipments of the second-generation HomePod mini would increase. The HomePod mini is made to fit in any room of the house. Its exquisite form is encased in a mesh material that blends seamlessly and lets sound travel through it almost transparently. Quick control is available via an illuminated touch surface on top. It works seamlessly with Apple devices. It can play music over Wi-Fi and AirPlay. Both Bluetooth and the ability to connect an external audio player with an auxiliary cable are not available with the HomePod mini.
