March 2024 Security patch update is now being rolled out for Galaxy S20 FE 5G

Recently, Samsung updated Galaxy S20 series smartphones with a March 2024 security patch update. Although this update wasn’t available for the Galaxy S20 FE, which is likely a part of this series,. However, with the latest update, Samsung has started to roll out the March 2024 security patch update for the global variant of the Galaxy S20 FE 5G. It carries the model number SM-G781B.

The latest firmware comes in with the build number, G781BXXS9HXB4. Along with that, this latest update will also cover several security issues. For now, this update is being rolled out in Brazil, and within a few days, it’ll expand to other regions gradually.

Go to Settings » Software update » Download and install to manually check for updates. After that, the phone will search for updates and let you know if any are available. In the event that the device displays no update, it indicates that Samsung has not released it in your area, and you will need to wait a few days to receive it. Alternatively, you can manually flash the firmware file by downloading it from our database.

Samsung released Android 10 (One UI 2.0) for the Galaxy S20 FE 5G. Android 13 (One UI 5.1) is the current operating system of the smartphone, which the firm has provided three updates for as promised. This indicates that the phone isn’t compatible with the Android 14 (One UI 6.0) update. Despite that, the device will still receive security updates for another year. For now, it’s on monthly scheduled updates.
