Meizu is back in the game with the Meizu 20 flagship series

Previously, it was reported that Meizu has decided to come back to the market. Besides this, it was also rumored that the company will be introducing Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro. Just now, the company has shared that the devices will be debuted on March 30.

Since September 2021, Meizu has not introduced any smartphone in the market. Before 2021, the company was introducing a couple of smartphones each year. However, the company didn’t release any smartphones in the last year. During this time period, the company was acquired by Geely. By that time, the company assured its consumer base that soon it will be back in the competition. Well, we are now witnessing that with the release of Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro scheduled for March 30.

Reportedly, the two smartphones will be initially introduced in China. There is no information regarding the global release of mobile devices. The company has shared the event page on its official website. The designs of mobile phones have been leaked previously. The current images shown on the event page confirm the leaked specs. The smartphones will feature flat sides, and rounded corners, and display separate camera modules on the back.

Cameras are aligned vertically. Meizu 20 has three cameras whereas the Meizu 20 Pro has four cameras. The last camera module on both smartphones accompanies an LED flash. Furthermore, the devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The devices will feature Flyme 10 out of the box.

Meizu 20 Pro will be accompanied by a 10-bit QHD+ resolution. It will have a 120Hz refresh rate. It will present a 50MP main camera with OIS support. Moreover, the smartphone will feature a 5,000mAh battery, and support 50W wireless charging.
