Microsoft is bringing a new collection of popular games to PC and Xbox Game Pass in July. The lineup includes eight games, with notable additions such as Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) featuring the next-gen upgrade for Xbox Series X|S, as well as day-one releases like Exoprimal and Techtonica.
While the Game Pass has recently featured smaller indie titles, this month marks the return of a well-known favorite. Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and in the cloud. Subscribers can also dive into Sword and Fairy: Together Forever, the seventh installment of the role-playing game series.
In the coming weeks, subscribers can expect games like the tactical shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm, the puzzle adventure McPixel 3, Common’hood, and The Cave. From day one, Exoprimal (a third-person shooter) and Techtonica (a factory simulation) will also be included in the PC and Xbox Game Pass.
Please note that Microsoft has announced a price increase for the Xbox Game Pass. The new pricing is effective immediately for new customers, who will be charged 14.99 euros per month for Ultimate and 10.99 euros per month for console subscriptions. Existing customers will transition to the new pricing on September 13, 2023.
In addition to the game releases, Microsoft is also highlighting various DLCs, including new Barbie and Ken cars in Forza Horizon 5, the Women’s World Cup in FIFA 23, and updates for Hi-Fi Rush: Arcade Challenge, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty (Battle of Zhongyuan DLC), and Sniper Elite 5 (Kraken Awake’s DLC). Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can also enjoy new perks and quests for Madden NFL 23, Sea of Thieves, Peggle 2, and Ghostwire Tokyo.
As with every month, a few titles will be leaving the PC and Xbox Game Pass in July. On July 15th, players will bid farewell to Exo One, PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls, and Spelunky 2.
