Microsoft Cancels All The Events Until Mid-2021

Microsoft, like many other companies, has had to cancel its upcoming events due to the coronavirus pandemic. The group goes further than everyone else, however, because all events were canceled by mid-2021 are now moved to online events.

So far, Microsoft has gradually canceled the events, but now one draws a consistent line, at least for the time being. The Redmond Company has confirmed that all events will be held as online versions until the end of the fiscal year 2021, which will be completed in July of the following year. The Redmond group has now confirmed it on Twitter. The reason is, of course, the current pandemic. Microsoft writes that this decision was made in light of the challenges posed by COVID-19. One observes intensively how the global situation develops and regularly assesses how one organizes or deals with meetings between people.

And here one has apparently come to the conclusion that the coronavirus will have the world under control for quite a while. Because until at least the middle of next year Microsoft will hold all internal and external events as online versions, including the large partner and developer trade fairs Ignite and Build.

The company keeps a back door open and writes that the situation is continuously monitored and looks forward to being able to get in touch again personally if the situation permits. This primarily means the situation after mid-2021, but one could possibly reschedule if the coronavirus (surprisingly) was already under control beforehand.
