Microsoft is going to host the ‘Future of work with AI’ event on March 16

Since the release of ChatGPT, Artificial Intelligence has become the center of attention for nearly everybody. Besides its release, the AI model has been adopted by Microsoft. Where the company has integrated the chatbot into its Bing browser. With every passing day, AI tech is continuously improving giving us the belief that it has the capacity to transform current work practices.

Given this perspective, Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella and Office 365 head Jared Spataro is going to host an event on March 16. The event is named “Future of Work with AI.” Looks like that we will get to know how AI tech will impact workplaces and how app integration with AI will work out.

As of now, little is known about what will be covered during the event. However, a report from The Information indicates that Microsoft could introduce some new services like the incorporation of AI models to improve search results, improve writing in Word documents, and recommend replies to emails.

The company has introduced new enterprise-focused AI technologies for Dynamics 365 and Viva Sales in an effort to boost productivity. The AI “Copilot” will assist in responding to emails and chats from customers, summarising Teams meetings, and examining marketing data. The new Office 365 AI features are apparently going to leverage the new Bing Prometheus AI model, even though these AI features are now running on the existing Azure OpenAI service.

Microsoft is making huge investments in OpenAI. Recently, it invested around $10 billion in OpenAI Thus, indicating that the company aims to emerge as a leader in the AI field. With all the current efforts of the company, it is evident that Microsoft is aimed at introducing a new level of productivity and efficiency to the workplace.
