Microsoft lists requirements for Android apps running on Windows 11

Microsoft has now commented on the system requirements following the release of the latest Windows 11 updates and the Amazon AppStore app in the Microsoft Store. If you run Android apps on the PC, you have to meet higher requirements than for Windows 11.

Even though it was not yet possible in Germany to run Android apps on the PC desktop with the new Windows 11 function, that is one thing interesting news. These requirements are higher than those for Windows 11 itself and are not just identical. Therefore, the regulations must be followed carefully. Specifically, you’ll need a device with Windows 11 version 21H2 or newer, at least 8 GB of RAM (as opposed to the 4 GB required for Windows 11 itself), and a processor officially supported by Microsoft. Also, the virtual machine platform feature must be enabled on the Windows Optional Features page and Settings app.
