Microsoft Releases New Updates In Preview Ring Insider Program

search bar

Microsoft has released previews for the upcoming patch day for the Windows 10 May and November update. The updates are offered to users in the so-called release ring as an optional update and are used for troubleshooting.

While Microsoft already distributed the usual so-called C updates for the older Windows 10 versions after the patch day, the bug fixes for the two current Windows 10 versions 1903 and 1909 are still being tested. The team has now released the builds with the numbers 18362.752 and 18363.752 and marked the update in the Knowledge Base under KB KB4541335. These preview versions are available as new cumulative updates in the Release Preview ring of the Insider program. Anyone who has registered there can already test the new versions.

No information about the content

Microsoft addresses the new preview Windows 10 version 1903, 1909, the Windows Server version 1903, 1909 and the Microsoft HoloLens. Security-related changes should not yet be included. However, the group has not yet published any information. There is also no information about the preview in the Windows blog. The update brings some bug fixes. Which exactly is unknown as always in the previews for the patch day, as there are no release notes.

Accordingly, we cannot yet provide any details. Problems that Microsoft should fix are abundant. For weeks, users have been reporting an error that is triggered by a temporary user profile. Other issues concern Installation problems and BSODs and slowed down systems.

The publication in the Release Preview Ring normally precedes the prompt release for all users. It could be ready soon – but at the latest on the regular Patch Day in April on April 14th.
