If you are still on Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, we highly recommend installing the latest update from Microsoft. Indeed, this is the July 2022 Patch Tuesday, which fixes no less than 68 cumulative security vulnerabilities for the two versions of the operating system, including 3 critical ones.
It would be a mistake to say that most users have mourned Windows 7. Out of nostalgia, laziness, or just lack of knowledge in this area, there are many more to occupy the old version of the operating system, despite the gradual end of support from Microsoft in recent years. However, the Redmond firm has not completely left out its old companion, if only for this one a few million users who haven’t turned the page yet. so the last one July 2022 Patch Tuesday is especially important because it fixes no less than 153 security vulnerabilities across the entire Windows ecosystem, including Windows 7 and its successor, Windows 8.1.
With regard to the latter, there are therefore 38 errors of which three critics in total are therefore corrected via this update. There they are :
Windows 7:
Windows 8.1:
Suffice it to say, it’s better not to ignore this update, at the risk of leaving the door open for hackers who could exploit these vulnerabilities. In addition, other bugs and errors are eligible for fixes by Microsoft teams, as well as a general performance improvement.
In addition, the Redmond company refers to the bug that prevented connecting to a WiFi hotspot, which also affected more recent versions of Windows. To update Windows 7, go to the Control panel, then in the menu System and security before you click Windows Update.
