Microsoft Store Update: Windows Team Releases Improvement for Testing

Microsoft has announced further improvements for the Microsoft Store. There are currently a number of changes to the App Store, both formally and visually. Some of it has now been launched for all Windows 11 Insiders in the Dev Channel. In addition to the new features that the Windows team has released for testing with the latest build number 25163, further revisions for the Microsoft Store are also starting.

The group announced a while ago that the App Store should get the special attention of the development team to provide a better experience for all Windows users. Many construction sites are currently working on this at the same time. In the latest Windows 11 preview, there are now a few gaming and entertainment improvements.

The new version number of the Microsoft Store app is 22206.1401.2.0.

New pricing information

Some feedback from Windows Insider Program participants passed on to Microsoft, has now been implemented. This includes tweaking the design and presenting a new price promotion preview. In the future, for example, for movies, in addition to the name and preview image, users should also be able to see at-a-glance summary information such as release year, original price, offer price, and any savings.

There is also an improvement in the search function so that you can see different editions of a game in an overview when you search for the game title. We have translated the release notes for the improvements for you:
