More Leaks Come Ahead of Release for the Galaxy S22 Series

A few weeks back, we heard a potential new smartphone series for 2022 – the Galaxy S22 series. The smartphone is expected to come in January 2022. Long before its release, the smartphone has started showing signs for its specifications. Here we have a few for you.

For starters, we heard that this Galaxy S22 series will have a design appearance similar (but better) than the Galaxy S21 series. We also have some predictions about its display size. According to several rumors, the base model will have a 6.01-inch display size. The Galaxy S22+ is expected to have a display size of 6.55-inch, while for the Galaxy S22 Ultra model, the size could be 6.81-inch.

We also heard from tipsters that this series will have a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Ultra model is expected to be a QHD+ and LTPO panel.

For cameras, we expect the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ to share the same camera specifications – 50MP 1/1.55-inch main sensors alongside a 12MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 12MP ultrawide camera. The Ultra model will have camera specifications of “108MP main cam alongside three 12MP auxiliary sensors – a short telephoto with 3x optical zoom, a periscope with 10x optical zoom and an ultrawide snapper.”

The battery capacity of the S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra is expected to be 3,800 mAh, 4,000 mAh, and 5,000 mAh.

That is all for now. We expect to hear more about the Galaxy S22 series in the coming weeks. So stay tuned for more.
