Motorola Edge 40 appears in four colors ahead of launch
As of the start of this week, we have heard that the launch of the Motorola Edge 40 Pro will happen soon. But as we got the news, the colors of the upcoming device were leaked before the launch.
The Motorola Edge 40 is coming up in four different colors
These color leaks were launched by a well-known tipster, Ronald Quandt. The images were shared through Twitter. In these leaked images, the color options are Eclipse black, Lunar blue, Nebula green, and Viva magenta.
These colors can be seen in the images in the linked article. However, the Viva Magenta color has already been introduced in the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion, which was the Pantone color of the year 2023.
Another noticeable thing about the Lunar Blue color is its back, which contains a matte acrylic finish. While the other three designs contain a vegan leather backplate that makes them a little less slippery. Along with that, all models have sandblasted aluminum frames.
As for the other features of the device, they weren’t mentioned by the tipster, but they were roaming around so we could estimate what we are about to get in these devices. The Motorola Edge 40 might contain a 6.65-inch fullHD+ (2400×1080) OLED curved display along with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The device is expected to be fueled by MediaTek’s SOC and might contain fast charging
The device will be fueled by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC along with an expectation of 8GB RAM. The storage options for this device will be 128GB and 256GB. LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage are also possible, but not guaranteed.
The battery range of this device will be 4,600 mAh, along with a 68W fast wired charger. According to rumours, there may also be a 15-watt charger, as well as a 5-watt reverse charging charger.
The device will be water- and dust-resistant and IP68-certified. And about the cameras, the main one on the back side is expected to be a 50-megapixel camera paired with a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera. The front camera might be 32 megapixels, singular.
Android 13 will be installed on the device by default, and along with that, there will be two slots for SIM cards. A stereo speaker might also be there with all these features.
