MSN Weather App Comes With New UI

MSN Weather App

Microsoft recently released another update for the MSN Weather app. In addition to minor improvements, the new version also has a revised design. The app is currently only available for Windows 11 insiders who are registered in the dev channel.

The design was adapted to Windows 11

The update raises the version number of the app to 4.53.33420.0. As WindowsBlogItalia writes (via MSPoweruser ), MSN Weather now uses a graphic style that better suits the Windows 11 user interface. The buttons are now displayed with rounded corners. In addition, the fonts were made larger and thicker. The elements in the settings menu have also been adapted to the look of Windows 11.

In addition to the new design, the developers have made an improvement to the start menu. If additional locations are pinned to the start menu, the associated city name is now displayed. This should enable users to better recognize the location of the respective link. In addition, some bug fixes were made with the update to version 4.53.33420.0, and minor performance improvements were integrated into the app.

Update only for insiders for the time being

At the moment the update is not yet been distributed to all users of the new Redmond operating system. Currently, only insiders have the option to test the new version of the MSN Weather app. In order to download the latest build, registration for the Insider program’s dev channel is required. Unless the update causes problems, the update could be delivered to all users in the next few weeks.
