From the fall, Apple will not only return with the iPhone 14 and the Apple Watch 8 but will also carry out further model maintenance. Experts expect a new Apple TV 4K, the comeback of the big HomePod, and the Macbook Pro with the Apple M2 Extreme chip. Four new iPhone 14 models, three Apple Watch variants, several Macs with M2 and M3 chips, mixed reality headsets, the AirPods Pro 3, and iPads in the low and high-end range are expected. In addition, the often well-informed Bloomberg reporter predicts Mark Gurman in its most recent newsletter, that two other products will benefit from an upgrade in the coming months: the Apple TV 4K and the classic HomePod. The latter should also be used in the upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 models.

New hardware around the Apple M2 chip

Gurman also expects an expanded Apple M2 lineup, the stone of which was kicked off at WWDC 2022 with upgrades to the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 13. As is known, Apple customers should be able to count on the offshoots of the M2 again. Pro and M2 Max, as was the case with the M1. These can be used in the new Mac Minis as well as in the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops. Finally, expect a new Mac Pro with M2 Ultra and M2 Extreme processors.
