A new leak revealed the memory and pricing for the Galaxy XCover 7

The Galaxy XCover 7 is the forthcoming smartphone that Samsung is reportedly developing as part of its XCover series, which is their portfolio of rugged smartphones. This information has been leaked and rumored. It is anticipated to be the follow-up to the 2021-released Galaxy XCover 5. The phone’s model number, design, processor, and battery capacity have all been made public through leaks and rumors thus far. Another leak has surfaced today, revealing the Galaxy XCover 7’s pricing, memory combinations, and display size.

Roland Quandt says that the Galaxy XCover 7 will include a 6.6-inch display, 128GB of storage, and 6GB of RAM in a post on X. The informant claims that Samsung will charge EUR 400 (about $440) for the phone. This indicates that the Galaxy XCover 7 will cost significantly more than its predecessor (EUR 299 vs. EUR 400) and have a substantially larger screen than the Galaxy XCover 5.

According to a prior leak, the Galaxy XCover 7 is equipped with the model number SM-G556B. According to the phone’s Geekbench listing, the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC is included. In contrast, the device’s FCC certification disclosed that its 4,000 mAh battery may be user-removable. Given that it’s a tough phone, an IP68 rating for water and dust protection is expected. The BIS certification for the Galaxy XCover 7 has finally been obtained, which suggests a device launch in India.
