Next month, Apple will begin training retail staff members on how to use Vision Pro

Throughout this year, we have observed a surge in AI across different segments of the tech industry. For the next year, the tech giants will be competing in a brand-new category: headsets. For quite some time now, we know that Apple, Google, Qualcomm, and Samsung have been working on mixed-reality headsets. The Cupertino-based tech giant could take the lead by introducing its Vision Pro early next year.

Some people may get to see the XR headset in action in January, despite a recent report that Apple may have had to delay the debut of the Vision Pro. Some initial reports suggested that the company would release the headset in January 2024. The release date may have been moved to March, and according to a recent Korean report, Samsung’s rival may have postponed its introduction by a few months in order to fix quality issues.

Apple will begin XR training next month

Well, this is a whole debate on when the Vision Pro will arrive on the market until or unless we have something official from the company. Besides this, another important thing is the training of the staff to use the Vision Pro headset. Some previous reports suggested that the company would train some employees from each Apple Store on how to use the Vision Pro headset. Reportedly, in mid-January, the training session will be held at the company’s headquarters in California.

These fortunate few will get hands-on experience with the Vision Pro early next month and will be trained in its use, presentation, and sales by March. The Vision Pro is expected to arrive with a $3,499 price tag. It will be the first headset to feature an OLEDoS (OLED on Silicon) screen supplied by Sony. On the other hand, the South Korean tech giant Samsung is working on the development of its own OLEDoS solution in an effort to become one of the key suppliers. Regarding Samsung’s own XR headset, some reports are stating that it will be unveiled later in 2024, potentially in August at the company’s second major Unpacked event.
