Nintendo is expanding the selection of (S)NES and Game Boy games available to retro fans within the Nintendo Switch Online membership. A total of three new titles are finding their way into the nostalgic emulators of the hybrid console.
Devil World and The Mysterious Murasame Castle from the 80s are now available for download for the virtual Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Castlevania Legends in the Game Boy area.
Castlevania Legends is probably the best-known title, which was released in autumn 1997 as the third part of the Castlevania series for the original Game Boy. It follows the story of Sonia Belmot, who, as a vampire hunter, has to compete against the incarnation of Count Dracula.
The Mysterious Murasame Castle is a 1986 action-adventure first released on the Japanese Famicom Disk System, while the NES title Devil World is reminiscent of Pac-Man.
According to Nintendo, if you don’t get used to the new adventures and labyrinth games, you can currently find more than 100 (Super) NES and Game Boy titles within the paid online membership. Including well-known classics such as Super Mario Kart, Super Mario World, F-Zero, The Legend of Zelda, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, Pilotwings, Kirby’s Dream Land, Tetris, and many more.
The Expansion Pack is an additional tier of the service that includes all the benefits of the standard membership, plus:
